There are a lot of interesting ties in the first issue of Spider-Man & Wolverine #1. The comedy within the first pages of the issue are pure gold and stand to reason why Spider-Man continues to reign as the best comic book series. It is a nice mixture to incorporate X-Men’s Wolverine into the mix. Throughout the comic, written by Marc Guggenheim with art by Kaare Andrews, you see the dynamic between the two. However, I have to say that I was shocked at the revealing bombshell at the end of the comic. Who would have thought that for a second that would turn out that way. Question is though, is that just Mysterio’s control again?
The Plot

This was an interesting read for sure and the artwork is amazing! The colors jump out of the pages and you get engrossed with the storyline rather quickly. This comic book is perfect for the fans of both worlds. Marvel has teamed up the two most iconic heroes and it seems that is going to tear them apart with the news that Peter gets at the end of the first issue. It is going to be interesting to see where it goes from here.
